I worked at Chuck E Cheese's for about 3 years in high school. I totally agree with you guys that you have to put those kids and teenagers in their place if they start fuckin with you. The worst part about the Chuck E costume head was that it had a molded plastic part inside that just about rested on your nose. If someone hit the nose (obviously, the most alluring part of a huge rodent), it would feel like getting punched in the nose. When in the costume, I was constantly on alert and ready to do battle. I would typically just grab a smaller kid's wrist and twist until they were laying on the ground. They would always look up to me in amazement and then leave me alone. The real problem was with the pre-teen and teenagers. Once I actually got surrounded by about 5-6 of them. I blocked some of their advances, but I eventually had to speak in a deep voice to "remind" them that an actual person was inside. I hope they enjoyed the pizza which I had Juan cut on the floor.
Oh... and you'd be surprised how often kids piss and shit in the ball crawl.
