Cubby has a point... there's a risk here of alienating your fans.

Seeing one of our own cast aside like that makes us fearful for the future of the show, but it's not just the DJQ thing.

When I first started listening to KATG, I felt a part of the show, you let us in to your lives.

Now there seem to be more and more secrets as the business side of things takes over. Inevitable maybe, but still sad as the distance between you and the listeners increases.
The show's still hilariously funny most of the time, but the sense of community and empathy with the hosts is disappearing.
Originally I could relate to the shitty jobs you have to do to pay the rent.
But sleeping most of the time, staying in the house, except to get free meals (I'm simplifying, I know you work hard at the show), I don't relate to as much, and it's not as good a radio show.

The above, coupled with the once-a-show, don't miss them out "Announcements", makes me feel as though the show has gone from
"this is our life" to "this is our business"
- which makes it less interesting for us.

I love the show.
