This place feels different.
I think the DJQ issue was a slap in the face to all of us. He felt it and we do also.
WE own the boards and the chat, more than K&C. They are ours to manage and care for. We police up the riff raff and set the kids straight. We welcome the newbie and search for old friends who have gone missing. Birthdays are announced and health issues are discussed.
Yes, I am the Top Poster and I feel a sense of ownership of the forums, so do others around here. The fact is, I feel slighted and stepped on. I was comfortable knowing our server was in the care of someone who cared about the forums. Yes Michael is in charge, but where is the server, the back ups, the database. It is in the hands of someone looking to make a buck, not someone looking for you to make a buck.
I should not have to say "I love the show and both of you" You know that, I should not have to say "make a buck, we are rooting for you" I am. Just take care of the people who take care of you.
I am not speaking for the community, but for myself as part of this community.
