Don't get me wrong, Nick deserved all he got . . . his parents probably didn't, they could be jag-offs or they could be nice (even the greatest parents in the world can have an asshole or serial-killer child).
If Nick, relatively unprovoked, posted Pat's info all over, I think there would be considerably larger problems in Nick's future.
