Here's what Patrick from NLO had to say on the Dawn and Drew forums:

First off I want to say whoever is posting comments on the front page on the D&D post about Nick using my name isn't me.

Also, I haven't talked to Nick in over a month, so nothing I've said or done has "put him over the edge". Stop your stupid speculating.

Also, you people who think my intentions from the beginning were to use Nick for laughing at him are wrong. When I met Nick, I quickly realized he has some really bad mental and social issues. I have tried to be that kid's friend more times than I can tell you - GENUINELY. I have been through phases of liking him, hating him, being mad at him, feeling sorry for him, and everything in between. For those of you who just know him as "the internet tech guy" and a couple of times on D&D, let me tell you that Nick is impossible to be friends with. He sabotages everyone that tries to help him. Myself and everyone I know that knows him have tried to help him on several occasions, only to be made sorry.

He is a habitual liar. He lies about everything. He is a manipulator and a fraud on just about every level of everything he does. He backs out of doing everything he sets out to do and follows through on nothing - his podcast, his living situations, his attempts to better his life, promises to friends, and even product purchases. He can't commit to do anything, because he has no idea who he is or what he wants.

I don't wish for anyone to die, but no one is going to die. Nick is an attention craving, pity-starved loser, in every definition of that word. And I'm not saying that to insult him, I'm saying it as a matter of fact. And the sad part is he could have such a good life, and so much going for him. He doesn't NEED or HAVE to be a loser, but he brings everything bad that happens to him upon himself. And if you don't know him personally, then you can't comment on that.

I feel bad that has you all believing this. He has claimed to be en route to commit suicide before on my show. He lies. He wants your pity and attention. He is somewhere right now, reading this and all your other posts and scurries about how you hope he is ok. He thrives off of it. And then he'll re-emerge and get all your "thank god you're ok" attention, while none of you bash him because you think he is suicidal and fragile. He's getting exactly what he wants. He is vain. He gets off on chatter about him. Articles, blog posts, twitters, forum threads. He comes on NLO forums everyday and reads about himself. It's pathetic.

Keep catering to him. You're not going to get me Nick. I know your stupid games and their stale and old. Take control of your life and straighten the fuck up. YOU control your life. Start already.

Makes sense to me.
