I'm not sure it was so much the bagels as who brought them. They just served as a reminder. I can't imagine Somerset hasn't been invaded by Einstein or Panera or any/every other generic bagel peddler. I passed it a month ago and it looked like any other chain-infested suburbia.
I realize that's just a view from a highway, but Keith's parents aren't in some sort of self-imposed exile, right?
