Of course, if you don't learn new shit. A lot of people stop learning when they finish college, so they don't get smarter.

I do agree that IQ has faults (and obviously you can quote studies/statistics at me and I realize they're out there and have better conclusions than I can come up with), but it's not as drastic as you say.
