But when computers became household items things gradually got different. Conversations are more like "Did you see this on youtube?" rather than did you see what "So-and-so did at whathisface's party?"
I feel like the only means in which we seek to interact is by means of discussing things that happen on the internet, instead of just doing things and having experiences. Of course this isn't true of every kid, but it's more common and socially acceptable, to idle away on a computer for hours... at least I think so...

I don't think that "being in front of your PC all day" and "kicking it at your boy's house" is the issue. I think the brain has been the same for generations. Technology is also making us smarter look at the past generations and what they had and what he have now and the things we are able to do that they aren't. It depends on the person I don't blame technology. Smart people use technology to expand their mind capacity.
