no matter how long you're here you'll never be a NH guy. and here's a joke I heard when I moved here that illustrates the point.
A man is born into a family that goes back many generations in NH. On the day he is born the family is returning from a trip and the mother goes into labor and he is born in Lowell, MA, just over the border. He lives a full life, never leaves the state, is active in his community and is proud of his NH lineage.
When he dies, the headline of his obit reads,"Lowell MA man dies".
