I had a G once. It was great for a while, but after a while he stopped threatening to bust caps in anyone and it wouldn't touch his foty. Homie-G tech support was useless.
In the end I was happy to just have him off of my couch. I've read that the latest models are much more reliable, but I now I get my verbal abuse through Intarweb forums.
