Really, the simple solutions are 1) stop using p2p, there's other ways to download or 2) move to Canada and turn off Uploads. It's not illegal to download yet here in Canada, just uploading copyrighted material. Although I'm sure NorthBush will change that eventually.

Thanks for the info... I really am not very computer smart, obviously..lol, So I do not know much really about downloading. What happened here was that I put in a search for a TV show that I missed a few episodes of and hit the first link to come up which was a torrent file. So instead of researching exactly what a torrent file/P2P was, I just followed the download instructions and downloaded about 8 episodes and two days later found this email from RR in my inbox. I only wanted to download the show to watch, not upload and share with others? According to the letter that's what I had done. It stated that I was distributing/sharing copyright material to others? I am just a bit panic'ed and confused.
