The only reason i refuse to shell out $100 for it is i know DMC3 absolutely kicked my ass on PS2. After the 3rd or 4th level (the one in the big tower after the 3-headed dog), i got completely lost and gave up.

I don't know about prices in NZ but last i heard, they have a 18+ rating. It's a few of our bible thumping, geriatric politicians that are stopping an R classification for games being introduced in Oz.
As for our prices, it's well documented that game prices in Australia are insane. Unless you want to fork out $80-$100 for a game that may be utter shit (fuck you Gears Of War), you're best off to stick to the bargain bin titles.
