What I loved was how they're both so articulate but so shit at communicating. Finally Chemda (Jesus bless her) spelt it out that a man doesn't respond well to vague bullshit like, "I want you to be present when you fuck me," unless you give him specific bullshit about what actions he needs to take to be present. Not that it helped anyway, McNally didn't even acknowledge the first list of five things she laid out explicitly and when she said she wants him to say her name in bed it met a brick wall.
The key moment was McNally admitting that in fact he did have more to give but he was holding himself back because he's afraid of it hurting too much when he bails back to Canadia. Ayn is right that he has it in him to be more emotionally involved, but McNally is right that if he says he's not willing to give more then she needs to come to terms with that.
In other feedback, the conversations about the music were aces too, just like in the 74-Hour show. I could listen to that shit all day whether I agree with the taste or not, it's just interesting to have insights into other peoples' tastes in music and it comes out much better in conversation than it does in forum posts.
