18 minutes into it.. Ayn's small rant about what her mom told her when she got her period, I think, points out exactly what is wrong. She has a shitload of fucking baggage. Hey, My mom told me when i was 8 that no one would ever love me, but you have to learn to get past that shit.
So, your mom told you that just cause someone wants to fuck you doesnt mean they give a shit about you, yes this is true but it's obvious (apparently to everyone but Ayn) that Keith, who got in this relationship despite his reservations about caring about anyone, cares a great fucking deal about you. I think any time Ayn feels insecure about Keith, she needs to listen to that episode when Keith spouted on and on about how he met this girl the night of Keith's show who was just so amazing and different and spunky that he couldn't stop thinking about her. If it's already all about Ayn, how much more could you make it about Ayn?

Despite having baggage of my own, and putting my boyfriend through it every now and then, I can completely feel Keith's frustration and anger at giving what he considers is his all to someone who only comes back with "Is that all ya got?"

A year from now the story will be "Well, I pushed him away on purpose because I knew he had to leave. That's how big of a person I am."
