I do tip fairly well, I think. Generally around 20%, but feel free to assume otherwise, because again, it's not a big deal to me. If you feel that tipping 20% on one trip and 0% on another trip makes sense then you are one confused individual. ...
The guilty party here is any system that allows any employer to pay less than minimum wage...so if you ever find out that a coworker with similar service and skills make more than you, keep your mouth shut. It is the system.
...I mean, why should I tip my waiter when I can't even get a cab in my own city after 6pm? What does that have to do with the waiter? It is the system's fault that you cannot get a cab. Blame it on the system not the waiter. It is that mentality that makes me say you are 22 forget arguing with him. Until you get older and realize that most people do not give a shit if you are black, you will not understand. You not being able to catch a cab has no bearing on if you tip or not. Saying that looks like you are making an excuse. It's like asking a drowning man to save a man on a sinking boat. Or the other way around, whatever. Once again, it is the woo is me, I am black and life is hard. Don't worry, you will grow out of the I am black part and realize that life is hard no matter your race...
