I saw the God references coming, and I did feel it was a cop-out. I personally can't think of how to end the show that would feel anything but bittersweet. I liked the ending, though it's far from perfect. I'm mostly happy that they got an ending... so many shows I love end up getting shitcanned without any chance to attempt to wrap things up (Carnivale anyone?)...
