To say I hated my last job is an extreme understatement. I worked for a big company where I was just a number and any independent thought was frowned upon. It was basically every office stereotype melted down and poured scorching hot over my self respect every morning when I punched in.
My so called manager (formerly of McDonalds fame) took great pleasure in talking down to everyone and hiding behind snide, condescending emails rather than talk to you in person. She would go so far as to see you doing something she could somehow find fault with, say nothing and rush past you back to her desk, only to email you to complain moments later. The only relief I got was being just as jolly back to her and making toys and characters out of office supplies.
I sat there all day, every day for about a year and a half, doing this:
