They started demolition on the floor below me yesterday for remodeling. Constant pounding/grinding/scraping noises coming up from there. Not to mention the periodic high-speed drills, pounding on the ducts and piping systems, and shaking from what I can only assume is an air hammer.
I'm told the demo will be done by the end of next week, then the reconstruction starts....
