Hahaha -- this is an awesome compliment from Podshow! You're obviously discussed internally and the lower-wattage of the owned idiots are waiting for the pat on the head with their "amusing" denouncements. Listening to exactly what the excerpts say, "someone" is hung up on the damage done to the contract by your exposure of it, presumably because when they go out gladhanding they are getting told that the deal isn't good enough. I wouldn't assume that the content is not centrally written, for sure the "talking points" are.

Often you deny bad people and you'll never have the satisfaction of knowing what that did behind the facade, but this is one of those rare moments when you actually get to understand, it's like when I was dumped by my ex and then she asked if we could get together again. By asking that it exposed an otherwise unknowable landscape of regret. Somehow it made it all better just to say, "no".

Please don't assume that this name blackening is a real problem or anything other than free publicity. Anyone that checks out your show can make their own mind up where the quality is coming from, if they want to listen they can have a Fuck You and if they scramble back to the safety of being told what to like and not like because they can't generate an opinion they can have a FUCK YOU.

Anyway... long distance relationships not working... I would generally agree it would be bad news. However, I met my wife over the Internet, we are married very happily for six years and have a son who is nearly three. The thing that made it work was that she was from quite close to my home town where I had moved away from, and we were close in age so we had many cultural references and so on in common. So there is a special case.

One last thing, there have been a lot of people calling in with nothing much to add, the guy in this show who called in did great. I would love to call in but the timezones work against it. Maybe one day you can have a Euro-listener show made in the morning your time. Be sure to flag it a few days ahead in the show if you do, I bet you'll get some curious stuff going on.
