You get used to it, start as the medic and - it's an easy way to get into the team work and to observe people using the other classes. Failing that, be the Heavy or Soldier and shoot shit.
The Spy is the hardest but most satisfying class, there's a real tension in infiltrating a team and waiting for the right moment to attack.
