The line they drew is NO guns. Not "guns smaller than 5 inches long are permitted" or "guns that are not traditional looking guns are ok". They made an example of this kid within to school to say "Hey, kids, really, like NO guns."

Agreed. was to drunk at the time to verbalize it but thats what I wanted to say. Schools have enough to worry about without having to regulate what kind of toy-non-toy weapons your kids are bringing to school.
Just remember schools have no humor. If you think its funny then you'll probably get suspended.
