I don't think them not being Italian really changes anything--the point of Jersey shore is to watch a bunch of ignorant douchebags be a bunch of ignorant douchebags. This revelation doesn't magically increase their intelligence, so it really doesn't matter.
And speaking of douchebags...I listened to the Clay bit at the end, and watched the trailer for this movie, and I think I can safely say I have laughed more from the crappy stand-up submissions shown so far then at him. Maybe a full set will have something to make me laugh, but right now, I'd put him below Dane Cook.
But, so I don't have a fully negative post--I have to commend Keith for apparently getting all the beads in on camera for the AdamEve commercial. That takes the concept of "method acting" on a whole new level.
