I had someone hurl a snowball at my windshield while driving along. Scared the shit out of me -- I could easily see how someone could potentially lose control of their vehicle in that moment of shock. The overpass people are obviously smarter, cos the car can't go out of control and hit them.
If the hummer had gone out of control and ran over a few snowballers (hehheh) I would have got that too.
I mean, it's a nice analogy, but he didn't crash his car, did he? He stopped it and pulled his gun. No one dropped a brick on his car from an overpass.
The real argument is: what if he wasn't a cop? What if he was just a guy with a gun?
