On Hotwire.com, the 3-star Chelsea - Madison Square Garden area Hotel is actually the Holiday Inn Express New York City at Madison Square Garden. Right now rooms are $113 a night for the week of April 15. Once you buy the hotel, its identity is revealed.
It's a pretty damn good deal for the middle on Manhattan right next to MSG, Penn Station and all kinds of subway. If you're still making travel plans, that might be something to check out.
