Havent heard the episode yet, so i wont judge your stand-up (and i'm not in the position to do it, because i'm a big comedy fan but it hink i would bomb onstage, so who the fuck am i?)
That said, yours and some others' issue seems that Keith and Chemda appear to dismiss some of the submission quickly, without playing them in full.
I might be wrong, but i dont think that's true: Keith is extremely serious and methodical about his project. Even if he acts like he's hearing the submission for the first time, he probably heard it already with others, in full and thought about it. There are probably many more sybmissions with awful sounds, worse jokes or awful edits that he listens to, grinding his teeth and then avoids to put on, to leave the listenrs out of the torture (with the exception of a few stinkers that he plays for good podcasting). A lot of the stuff that was played during the marathonn was baaaaaad, and rightfully disappeared.
Chemda gives a more gutsy reaction. She's more close to a real audience. If you dont make her laugh or you rub her the wrong way, she'll say it out loud.
So in the end, they both are perfect and fair judges for this. They're fair.
Now if you listened to Jesse Joyce judging the submissions during the marathon, that was somebody who could scare me out of comedy forever.
