@Junkenstein: Thanks for some perspective. If a lot of the entries didn't even get on the air, then I suppose I should take encouragement that mine got played live, especially as awful as the first one was. I have no doubt that Keith takes this project as seriously as you say, so it would've been nice to get some criticism (constructive or otherwise) from him, but I suppose if he took the time to do that on-air with everyone, the show would be wasting hours, for one reason or another, on hacky comedy (my own included). I still think impressions in general use goofy voices to get away with telling okay-to-good jokes, but again I'm sure I won't be complaining come the 15th.

And I suppose I shouldn't bitch about Chemda's harsh judging. The honesty is why I love the show. I can't accept it when it suits me and complain when it doesn't, and stern dismissal will improve my comedy far more than gentle denial will. Let's hope the experience will help me out come submission time next year.

@Fourbid: Yeah, I do. But I excuse it to myself because a lot of my douchebaggery is directed right back at me (not necessarily in the post, but in general). I'm a non-discriminatory criticizer.
