Nice concept, poor follow through.

I disagree, I think Duncan Jones was well aware that some story elements were predictable and handled it by having the main character(s) be in on the big reveal the moment I said "[Blank]" in my head was the same exact moment the character said it out loud. It was as if the second character was saying to the main character what your thinking, and that's what made it special; in my opinion. Its like the intelligent audience member was inserted in the story.
For a first time director/writer, this was an impressive scifi thriller. I hope he continues the story. This is one of the rare films where I actually want to see a trilogy be made (very rare for me).
Unlike district 9, which I loved but have no interest in seeing any of its story stretched and elaborated on. D9 was the better scifi of 09 but Moon has alot more to work with post credits in my opinion.
I would love to see the next "moon" become a social political courtroom esq drama. Like a scifi twist on a Micheal Clayton maybe?.
