Brazil were toothless without Elano, Robinho and Kaka this morning. The kid Nilmar was the only one with any creative ideas but he didn't have any support. Most of the game was just the two rival teams kicking shit out of each other.

Two every three matches. I'm still not convinced the ball touched Reid on the way to Smeltz for the goal against Italy. It certainly didn't deviate its path.
But yeah ... if only. When the central midfield we had our guys up front were always going to be starved of service and Smeltz is really the only dangerous finisher we have.
