i contribute my getting divorced on not doing this properly. we were more or less married by the time i met her parents and we were married when she met mine and our parents never met. This made any spending time with family akward and caused us to not do it which meant we smothered each other as we depended on each other for both love and family. This made it impossible to manage day to day stuff and caused us to break up imo
