I never really understood why people would, seemingly inherently, dislike or hate guns. Are there any guys out there that really don't like guns, because it seems to be a more typical female response. Makes me think of what Keith has said before, that most guys will think that a sword is cool, maybe it's something along those lines.

Totally agree--I don't get inherent dislike for guns. It's not a matter of what the gun can do, but more what the person does with the gun.
I don't own one at the moment, but I've also been around them my whole life. My dad, and a lot of my family owns them, is trained in how to use them, and regularly hunt, and have trained their family members in how to use them, including me.
