here's my contribution, and the 1 year anniversary of this is coming up.
last year on 10/25, my good friend went out riding. (dirtbikes) he was probably the best rider in our small town, and he was damn good for even a big city, regularly winning competitions in the area. so he's out riding, and as he's tearing around a corner, at probably 40 miles an hour, a truck comes around the corner at probably equal speed, and they collide. it broke his neck instantly.
the very next day, I went to a candlelight vigil held on the high school baseball field, (he was also a very good pitcher) his mom and dad were there, they told this heartbreaking story
as he was heading out the door, he shouted to his mom "alright mom, see you later" she shouted back "alright, see you later, be careful out there" he shouts "yeah mom love you" his dad also rides, and told him "alright son, be safe, and i'll be out there to ride with you in a little while" his dad was riding out when my friend, his son died.
and that's the last thing they ever said to her 16 year old son before he died. Honestly guys, I've never seen parents love their child so much. They were ALWAYS there at his games, riding with him, supporting him, taking him places, etc
I've seen them around a few times, it doesn't get easier to see their faces.
