I think we're both looking at it from different angles. My main point isn't that Egypt is better than (or equal to) America, but that telling people to just get up and leave is a bit offensive and naive (as I think Chemda maybe felt on the show, judging by her reaction).
I do see your point though, especially about human rights, but these protests are against a lot of these things (like lack of free speech, police brutality, low minimum wage, corruption). It makes even less sense to leave now, when they're trying to do something about it.
Attacking the mummies was stupid though.
