Your reasoning here seems to be that since people will not believe that you are a messenger of God, they cannot be gullible. That's dumb. Not only do many people believe that there are messengers of God around right now, but most of the world thinks that God had people write a book for them. I don't know how many skeptics you know, but skepticism kind of loses its meaning if it doesn't have a problem with Christian faith.
