Yeah, I understand - the media is great at reinforcing (negative) stereotypes and stereotypes usually have some kernel of truth. And as humans, it's easy to just categorize people and put certain people in certain boxes. Whenever I've been prejudiced towards a certain group, I've found that befriending people of that group always helps.
