With so many "insecurities" among Black people, I think it becomes a relief to criticize the perceived faults in other groups. Demonizing another "outcast" draws away attention from one's own problems. After 9/11, it was ironic to see Black people condoning the witch-hunt on Arab-Americans, despite the obvious injustices ingrained within this country.
