I agree with that yet somehow the opposite is not true, if you like Harry Potter you are not guaranteed to like other epic fantasy novels. Weird ...

I think I have slight PTSD from reading and then waiting for new Wheel of Time books coming out for over half my life now so I tried to avoid getting involved in a new series but now the TV show has me hooked. Midway in the second book at the moment ... SIGH
