They do it because they can. ( and it makes a GREAT USAF recruitment poster!)

Like climbing mountains, going to space, racing cars or running a marathon. All involve training, pushing the envelope and risk for no obvious reason but to push the limits of what you think you can do. It is a choice you make. It advances the discipline and the people. It is why we are alive.

But, of course, you WOULD have to leave the house...

The crash in Reno was tragic - a recently retired, 60 year old Canadian airline pilot and his wife were among the dead. Can you imagine? A life spent managing risk wiped out in a half second.

I've been to 40 years of airshows and if I get taken out at one, rest assured, I am fine with that. A VERY rare occurrence in the scheme of things.

Nothing fake. All real. No second chances. Sweet. Sorta like your stand-up.
