yeah, i actually lived in kensington, don't know why i forgot that area... that and windsor terrace on the south/southeast side of prospect park also are decent places to live with either F or Q train access.
when i moved back to brooklyn in '05, i remember the G train having the moniker of "rape train". apparently there was a few incidents back then, but haven't heard anything like that since i've been back.
