gave Mur Lafferty a second chance after I originally was turned off by her. I'm not sure if it was style, voice, or watever that bothered me. I gave her Heaven series another try and I greatly enjoyed it. It's not for everyone though.

Seth Harwood's In Broad Daylight, Started out slow but so far picked up into a gripping crime novel. i wish the episodes came out faster.

Abigail Hilton's Guild of the Cowry Catchers series, great fantasy that starts slow but the later story and character development will keep you guessing and keep your rapped attention throughout the 3 existing novels in the series.
