In reference to tipping I recently ate at our local Valentino's pizza restaurant and had 4 cents coming to me in change. The girl at the cash register asked me if I wanted the change to go to my waitress. I told her no and I already left a dollar on the table for a tip. She must've asked this question so many times that it was routine but could you imagine getting a 4 cent tip, I'd be pissed.
I kind of view tipping this way. A rich person giving a poor person a trifle of what they really could give.
