I wasn't into this episode. Patrice works better as a guest than as a host. She's a quick thinker and she's very funny, but she has no interviewing skills, and she tends to make herself the subject of conversation.
The guests rarely got the chance or encouragement to elaborate on their statements, and by the end we hadn't learned much about any of them. Kyle managed to keep in the game, but Jess tended to get steamrolled by Patrice, and Gerald was quiet. Too quiet.
Very little of the conversation felt organic. It was a series of false starts with a quick chat at the end as a consolation prize. I'd like to hear the guests asked some of the same questions again, but this time they should get a chance to answer.
