. The way I try to handle it is to say something like "I'm so sorry, this is totally one of my really weird things, but I can't stand coffee breath. I'm not asking you to quit coffee, but if you don't mind popping a mint or something before I come over, I'd appreciate it. Also, please feel free to tell me if there is something I'm doing that might be bothering you that I can do something about." or something like that. Start off apologizing and make it about one of your quirks or hang ups versus making her feel like she stinks.
