people really, really want to fuck. it's a basic drive for all lifeforms.
people don't really, really want to support homosexuality, but just can't darnit. it's a deep seated prejudice within a community. it is not something that would or could change over night even if the pope performed a gay wedding in a neon thong. the story work i do gives me a somewhat authoritative voice on the matter; the last play i designed for was specifically about the gay community within a deeply conservative area.
everybody ain't caught up yet. i think while we get there we could all stand to extend a little grace.
