Real shame about Giger. I was in his house/gallery/restaurant in Gruyere Switzerland a few years ago. The town is insanely small with this ancient castle in the back. Toward the end of the main road is the house he grew up in, which is now a gallery of his work. Seeing his nightmare-ish work set against the staggeringly beautiful, picturesque Swiss countryside is amazing.. I'm shocked he wasn't run out of town by the locals.

Across the street is a restaurant where he was involved with the interior design (obviously after he became successful). You are essentially inside the rib cage of this giant creature while still being in a medieval cathedral. There aren't really even words to describe it. There is nothing like it.
