When I was younger I thought for sure I'd be into jazz. I associated jazz with intellectuals. Smart people knew jazz. This was a problem as I didn't listen to jazz; nor knew anyone who did. They played it at a local coffee shop I went to. Someone suggested Miles Davis' Kind of Blue.

To this day, in the literal thousands of albums I own, it remains the only jazz I got. I think of this sometimes when I listen to Korn late at night. Drunk on cans of cheap whatever. Never quite made it to...uh....refinement.

This is a famous Dave Brubeck song. Most drummers/ band geeks know it. They played it on NPR recently when Brubeck passed away. It's good.
