oh. sweet. jesus. long hair. there are 3 people in my house. we all have long hair in various degree of curl. Bear has the tightest curl; the bar for which he runs sound most regularly allows smoking and his hair soaks it up like a fucking sponge. he'll "wash" it every day--he uses conditioner not shampoo--if that's bad. elsewise, 3-4 days until it mattes and then it's 20 minutes of /just/ detangling. frizz ease gel.

i have the longest hair--lower back length--with big waves. fresh hair is the only time i leave it down. then i do braids. maybe a pony tail. there are a couple of bun days. then it's dirty enough to do a fancy up do by randomly sticking in bobby pins and throwing on a scarf which turns it into a solid gross single dread. then /i/ get to spend 20 minutes /just/ detangling in the shower. curl cream.

it's a constant quest to balance moisture and matte.
