Agreed.
HOWEVER...
In most work places when you do more work; you get more compensation. It's a tricky thing for Keith and Chemda to gauge cuz their work is dealing in ideas. How the fuck do you figure out how much to pay Danny when there's no real tangible evidence of his work? I feel for both sides because this sounds complicated.
Danny should definitely get a new title. He's constantly pulled onto the mic for KATG shows. Often 'writing in from the couch' and was a huge part of the last Marathon. This ep was perfect for this very discussion. I think Frank made some brilliant suggestions.
I feel for Danny. I don't think Keith fully understands how intimidating he is. Or how detrimental that 'elephant memory' of his can be. No doubt Keith is gonna torture Danny with, "Is it ok with you I said that? Any jokes stolen today???" Ad nauseam for the next year or two.
As a fan I'm endlessly impressed with how funny Keith is. But when it comes to him understanding things he doesn't agree with; I'm shocked with how impossible he can be. Chemda said something so simple, yet so telling. "Keith. You and Danny are two different people."
I hope Keith follows Chemda's lead on this one. He sounds hurt and maybe not fully understanding who Danny is, nor what it is he is saying.
