When I was in grade school our class used recorders as instruments.. Aka fake plastic flute thingys. We had to do recital during school and all the parents were there to watch their children perform. I remember "practicing" the night before. I also had no idea how to read music and I'm not sure wtf I was doing during all of my music classes. I guess I never asked for help and was too nervous to ask my dad for help bc he was a piece of shit to me. When it was the day of the recital I still had no idea how to play so I just faked it by moving my fingers over the holes on the recorder. I was so relieved afterwards
