Actually... it was kind of weird. Like, we were laughing! I don't actually know why he thought he was bombing so hard. He was great, but kept saying "no, not that one? Not funny?"... even though we were laughing.
The one bit that was a little weird was the part where he was talking about hooking up with a guy because he wanted to be liked- it was a funny story, but the part that didn't go over so well was that "him hooking up with a guy" was supposed to be funny, but ... I mean ... at least from the perspective of my my wife and I, we were thinking "well, okay, cool, good for you!". Like, we were feeling more supportive than tickled, I guess?
Anyway. The entire show was super fun, and the shit with Danny and Paul was goddamned legendary.
