Why don't you credit Chuck? - he is out there with a bold claim, and no-one has come up with one example of the use of Snowflake in its pejorative sense before Fight Club:

"You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everyone else, and we are all a part of the same compost pile." The Space Monkey continues, "Our culture has made us all the same. No one is truly white or black or rich, anymore. We all want the same. Individually, we are nothing."

I certainly had not heard it used that way before 1996 (thats right he coined the phrase over twenty years ago), and it is iconic and featured in a hit movie - its exactly the sort of thing that crosses over into the vernacular.

So in the vein of a Keith supporting a comedian against joke thievery, I'll side with Chuck until its proved he did not coin this usage. It's his intellectual property and he deserves the credit.
